*Drivers with a past championship (E4A/DHE/O4A/DHO) or who have ever been over 2k iR in road will be issued a Pro card. Pro drivers will be scored seperately*

This series will have a 30 driver cap for races. If we exceed the cap in a race the top 12 in points for each class are locked in. Any extra spots will be filled based on qualifying time.

**Fair Competition Clause**

Drivers with a past championship (E4A/DHE/O4A/DHO) or who have ever been over 2k iR in road will be issued a Pro card. Pro drivers will be scored separately. Any driver is able to request a Pro card prior to the start of race #2 each season. Pro card requests will be voted on by admins and issued accordingly. Drivers with a Pro card will retain it permanently. Any driver with 3 Championships in a single series or 4 total on the road side of the league(E4A/DHE/O4A/DHO) will have established themselves as being above and beyond the skill set of this league. We wish them the best but simply don't have more competitive racing to offer them. Those drivers will be issued a Legend card and may still race. They will not be counted for wins/points/stats and will be the first cut from a server if race caps are met. Legends continue to race here for instructional purposes only (if they wish to do so).

Relegation Addendum - At the conclusion of every season, the admin team will examine the drivers who earned their Pro card by winning an earlier title in a lesser series to see how they are handling being in a higher tier of competition. A maximum of 1 driver per series may be relegated back to Amateur status if we feel that it will strongly benefit them from a competition standpoint. Driver's over 2k are not applicable to relegation.

Safety Bonus Points are permanent, they do not get dropped with your 4 drop weeks

Drive thru penalty for 22x and every 6x after that (Officials would DQ you, so we're being lenient)

*Provisionals* - Real life happens, drop weeks might not be enough for you. Drivers will automatically receive a provisional for any races missed in a season. Provisional points are 3 positions less than the lowest finishing driver in an event.

Race/Comms Etiquette:

Firstly, all iRacing rules/guidelines will apply unless otherwise stated. If it applies to an iRacing official series then it applies here. Black Flags will not be cleared for anything...period. https://www.iracing.com/iracing-official-sporting-code/

If you are involved in an off track situation, pay attention to your relative screen and only merge when it is safe to do so. In general just have some damn courtesy. We are here to foster a fun learning environment. No one here is a pro. Mistakes will be made. Crashes will happen. Unless you think it was intentional we encourage you to shrug it off and move on. Retaliation will not fly here. It will earn you a very quick ban from the league. Bashing other drivers, or even their friends/family, will also not be tolerated. We encourage our drivers to take the high road and not create any enemies/drama within the league. It is strongly suggested that if you incur contact with another driver you apologize in some way.

Starts:

This series will utilize rolling single file starts. Once cars start rolling on the parade lap drivers will manually get in to single file order. The race will start on the green flag. It is strongly suggested that people take the first few corners conservatively to get some heat in the tires. No passing until after turn 1.

Penalties - A driver who wrecks someone on the first lap of a race can/should be protested via the contact form on the website. If you are found to have wrecked someone on lap 1 you will be forced to start at the tail of the field in your next start.

Race Protests:

Procedure - This is billed as an Amateur's league. None of us are pros, none of us are racing for thousands of dollars, none of us are or will be perfect. If you wish to file a protest against a driver, wait 12 hours and then consider it. If you think a valid protest is in order, then you need to give details of what happened and what lap/time stamp. If you're not going to take the time to figure out when something happened, we won't do it for you. You may file a protest against another driver for a few reasons, as follows:

1 - Driver violates any/all race start procedures

2 - Driver maliciously/purposely wrecks you

3 - Driver uses voice comms/text comms to bash/harass/threaten someone in a reason deemed to be way out of line from the general public

4 - Driver violates the iRacing sporting code

To file a protest, utilize the contact/protest form on the website with a minimum of a description of what and when it happened(lap/time/corner). It may take a couple days for review but we will get back to you.

Penalty System:

1 - A driver who is found to be successfully protested will receive a warning on how/what they should correct

2 - If a driver is successfully protested a 2nd time by the same accuser (in the same season), they will be dropped 3 finishing positions in the race that the complaint occurred.

3 - If a driver is successfully protested 3 times in 1 season by various accusers they will be dropped 5 finishing positions in the race where the most recent incident happened.

4 - A driver who is successfully protested 4 times by various accusers will be suspended for 1 race and not receive provisional points.

5 - A driver who is successfully protested 5 times in 1 season will be parked for the remainder of the season.

[successfully protested means the admins received a protest, we found it to be a complaint worthy of filing a protest, and we found the accused party at fault (beyond a reasonable doubt) based on any/all evidence received]

***Asshole Clause***

If a driver goes rogue and loses their shit in a race, i.e. driving backwards/wrecking people, or even flipping out on voice comms, an admin can/will throw a full course caution so that they can remove that person from the race server and Discord.

All rules and regulations are subject to interpretation by the admins.

We also reserve the right to update the rulebook at any time.
